Sales Account Manager

Location: London Office (N1, Angel)
Full-Time

We are looking for a confident, motivated individual to join our commercial team, supporting our European sales team and our growing portfolio of 200+ international clients.

Eventsforce is more than just a market leading supplier of event management software and we pride ourselves on building strong, long-lasting relationships with our clients. After full training on our product and sales account management process, you will be ready to join our Account Management team.

The Account Management team is responsible for delivering all client revenue to the business, primarily through the provision of annual software licences and additional services. After the relevant training in our product and sales process, you will work with the Head of Business Development in building relationships with clients, identifying opportunities for growth and ensuring each client account reaches its potential.

You should have an active interest in both the events industry and technology and enjoy communicating and building relationships. You will become an expert in our market leading software platform, gain experience of the industry, and develop commercially valuable skills whilst working closely with clients in all sectors.

With 1-2 year’s relevant experience, you should be looking to progress your sales career to the next level and within a few months will be fully up and running, managing your own client portfolio within our team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and build client relationships, maximising account growth opportunities
• Manage portfolio of 75+ clients with regular account meetings, both face to face and online
• Manage the commercial process through Salesforce CRM
• Participate in internal sales meetings
• Liaise with internal departments, following up on operational, support and development projects, ensuring the highest levels of client satisfaction is delivered throughout

About You

• An excellent communicator with an ability to engage with people
• Enjoy communicating with new people, networking and relationship building
• Forward-thinking, and motivated with a positive attitude
• Aptitude for learning new technologies
• Excellent written and verbal skills, with a keen attention to detail
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently, as well as part of the team

Essential Experience

• 1 to 2 years’ experience in similar commercial, client facing role
• Experience within the events, event technology, or similar software based sales role

Preferable Experience

• A degree in Event Management or related field
• Knowledge of Software as a Service (SaaS) products
• Knowledge of Custom Relationship Management (CRM) solutions
• Knowledge of web-based office suite (Google Docs)

Business Development Executive

Location: London Office (N1, Angel)
Full-Time

We are looking for confident, motivated individuals to join our commercial team, supporting our European sales team and our growing portfolio of 200+ international clients. Eventsforce is more than just a market leading supplier of event management software and we pride ourselves on building strong, long-lasting relationships with our clients.

You will be responsible for managing strategic lead generation campaigns, identifying ‘best fit’ customers for our product and providing sales ready opportunities to the business development team. You will also contribute to the annual sales target by delivering product demonstrations and carrying a personal sales quota, developing your skills across the full sales cycle.

You will often be our first point of contact for potential new clients and will thrive on talking to a range of people, across the B2B environment. You will be motivated to pick up the phone, understand prospects business and requirements and won’t be phased by rejection.

You should have an active interest in both the events industry and technology and enjoy communicating and building relationships. You will become an expert in our market leading software platform, gain industry experience, and develop commercially valuable skills working across a variety of sectors.

Within a few months you will be fully up and running, closing sales and generating opportunities for the team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their sales career with progression and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

Lead Generation:
• Manage lead generation campaigns, building and nurturing relationships with target ‘best fit’ customers for our product
• Daily calling to warm contacts from our database, using your skills to reach key decision makers by both phone and email
• Manage pipeline to generate sales ready opportunities, achieving monthly targets

Business Development:
• Build your own pipeline of opportunities, managing the full sales cycle from enquiry to proposal to achieve personal sales quota
• Deliver product demonstrations both online and at face to face meetings
• Participate in monthly webinars, trade events and other business development activities

Database management:
• Use existing database (Salesforce.com) to manage lead pipeline
• Ensure all contact details are up to date and accurate
• Log latest activity and schedule follow up tasks

Reporting & management:
• Create regular reports on lead generation activity and pipeline
• Participate in monthly sales meeting, updating the sales team on lead generation activity
• Work closely with the sales team ensuring all opportunities are maximised across the business

About You

Essential Experience

• Eager to grow your B2B sales career, with 1 year+ business development, or lead generation experience in similar SaaS technology, or events based role.
• Experience in Custom Relationship Management (CRM) solutions, or similar contact database

Preferable Experience

• Knowledge of Software as a Service (SaaS) products
• A 2:1 degree in Event Management or related field
• Practical event work experience
• Knowledge of web-based office suite (Google Docs)
