As we promised during this month’s Client Webinar on Enhanced Programme Management, here’s all of the questions raised, plus the all-important answers from our Technical Support team.
Q: Can all sessions be made “draft”?
A: A session can be made “draft” if it hasn’t been booked.
Q: How can I make amendments go straight to the agenda?
A: Go to Setup > Program > Settings
In the General panel, for the option “When amending a registration, initially show:” select “Session selection”
Q: If the times are changed after a booking has been made what will happen?
A: When the booking is amended, if the new time clashes with another session that has been booked, the attendee will be shown a warning message indicating that there is a conflict. They will not be able to proceed until they untick one of the sessions.
Q: Has anything changed with linking abstracts to sessions?
A: The process of linking has changed, but rather than adding presenter start and end times, you can just add the duration of the presentation. For more information read our article https://eventsforce.zendesk.com/hc/en-gb/articles/115003761303-How-can-I-assign-times-to-my-abstract-presentations-
Q: Can you make it mandatory to book onto one session per time slot? so that numbers in rooms can be accurately predicted?
A: It is not currently possible to “…make it mandatory to book onto one session per time slot…”. However, we are working on including additional logic to sessions which we hope to be able to demonstrate in a webinar in the near future.
