Graduate Developer

Location: London Office (N1, Angel)

An excellent opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Computer Science (or similar) graduate with a 2:1 or above to train as a Caché Objects Web Developer with a rapidly growing software company based in central London, a 10 min walk from Angel Tube, great canal-side location.

The Job

The quality of our client’s software is critical to the success of their customers, and also to the business.

The successful candidate will join the agile software development team as a Trainee Developer and will come to play a key role in ensuring that they deliver great software to  customers. They will become involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from specification through to implementation and delivery.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will be a self-disciplined, conscientious person who has high standards of quality and accuracy. They will have great communication skills, be inquisitive and curious, with a nose for finding bugs. They will be passionate about software and software quality.

Essential Experience and Skills

  • A 2016 or 2017 computer science (or computing-related) graduate, 2:1 or a first
  • Full stack knowledge – databases, OO, SQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and listening skills
  • Knowledge of general web topography, protocols and infrastructure

Desirable Experience and Skills

  • Knowledge of Caché, jQuery, BootStrap, Git, Vc/M, Kendo UI
  • Software development as part of an agile development team using Scrum or similar
  • Knowledge of web standards, usability and accessibility
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Understanding of developing in a security sensitive environment

Technical Support Specialist

Full-time, permanent job based in our London office

We are looking for an exceptional individual who understands the events industry, has outstanding customer service skills and is keen to take on the challenge of making and keeping our clients happy at all times!

You will be responsible for providing clients with high-level support and guidance for our SaaS event management software through a variety of channels of communication, including phone and email. You will take responsibility for ensuring that clients receive exceptional customer service so they can set up and run successful events.

Responsibilities

  • Help our customers be happy and productive by answering their questions and solving their problems
  • Take ownership of customer incidents from first contact to final resolution
  • Investigate issues reported by customers and identify root causes
  • Become an expert in our product and the events business
  • Write, edit and maintain knowledge base articles
  • Maintain client database
  • Remain up-to-date on new product developments, technology, and services offerings
  • Occasional shift or on-call work may be required

Required Experience

  • Experience in the events industry
  • Experience of using different event management or CRM software
  • Experience in delivering internal and external training sessions would be desirable
  • Experience in providing technical support would be desirable

Telemarketing Executive

Location: London Office (N1, Angel)

We are looking for confident, motivated individuals to join our commercial team, supporting our European sales team and our growing portfolio of 200+ international clients.

Eventsforce is more than just a market leading supplier of event management software. We also pride ourselves on building strong, long-lasting relationships with our clients. After full training on our product and sales process, you will be ready to join our business development team.

You will often be our first point of contact for potential new clients, and will thrive on talking to a range of people, across the B2B environment. Working closely with the marketing team, you will be responsible for managing our lead generation campaigns, following up on contacts held on our database, and providing sales ready opportunities to our new sales team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in a career in B2B sales and marketing.

You should have an active interest in both the events industry and technology and enjoy communicating and building relationships. You will become an expert in our market leading software platform, gain experience of the industry, and develop commercially valuable skills working across a variety of sectors.

Within a few months you will be fully up and running helping the sales team to develop new opportunities for future business.

Responsibilities

Lead generation:

  • Manage lead generation campaigns, using your skills to reach key decision makers by both phone and email
  • Generate follow up appointments & system demonstrations for new sales team, achieving monthly targets
  • Provide detailed lead reports, ensuring each appointment meets set qualification criteria

Database management:

  • Use existing database (Salesforce.com) to manage lead pipeline
  • Ensure all contact details are up to date and accurate
  • Log latest activity and schedule follow up tasks

Reporting & management:

  • Create regular reports on lead generation activity and pipeline
  • Participate in monthly sales meeting, updating the sales team on lead generation activity
  • Work closely with the sales team ensuring all opportunities are maximised across the business

About You

  • A 2:1 degree in Event Management or related field
  • Practical event work experience
  • Knowledge of web-based office suite (Google Docs)

An excellent opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Caché Objects full stack web developer to join our rapidly growing company based near Old Street.

The Job

Our customers use our software to manage events, from small meetings to high-profile conferences and shows. The quality of our software is critical to their success, and critical to our business.

The successful candidate will join our agile software development team and will play a key role in ensuring that we deliver great software to our customers. They will be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from specification through to implementation and delivery and will be encouraged to search out new tools and techniques that will keep us at the leading edge of Caché powered public websites.

The Candidate
